NOTICES

The Search Committee has recommended Rev. Dr. Eric Titus to be our next pastor.  Consistory, at a meeting January 26, accepted their recommendation and moved to start the process of extending the call to Dr. Titus.  A verbal call has been extended and Dr. Titus has accepted.  This is just the start of the process.  There are written negotiations and approval from Classis needed.  A date of February 19 has been set up for him to preach here at St. John’s.  There will be one service at 9:30 a.m. followed by a congregational meeting, for an advisory vote and then a reception in the fellowship hall.

Please sign up on the sheet in the fellowship hall if you would like to make bake goods for Coffee Hour.

Denominational Assessment:  You can use the green envelope in the front of your box of offering envelopes to help offset this expense.  This year the cost per active member is $93.77.  The initial offering envelope is used to offset the cost of envelopes; price per box is $3.25. Any amount you can contribute is appreciated.

Beverly Kipp has taken the job of Flower Chair and is looking for a co-chair of this committee. If interested please speak to Beverly.

Have you lost an item of jewelry?  Please see Shari in the Church office.
